BENEFITS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR BACK PAIN AND NECK PAIN

In a recent survey, chiropractors conveyed that the biggest concern they had in managing back pain patients was patient follow through (coming to appointments, doing exercises, following at-home instructions, etc.). (3) In another survey, 90% of chiropractors stated that they had a positive opinion about healthier patient lifestyles. These chiropractors also reported that they were actively engaged in promoting physical activity, recommending exercises to patients for their particular issue, asking how the exercises are going, and advising patients in the proper manner to do exercises as well as benefit that comes from exercising. (4) One way that patients seem to respond more positively and be more willing to do physical activity is the use of a mobile app. Apps that are build built around reported pain, pain intensity, and app features like audio explanation and animation of each exercise are well received. (5)  Doing the right exercises in the right way is the most effective.
